The Biden administration has faced widespread criticism for its chaotic execution of the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan. The fundamentalist Taliban regime retook the region faster than any officials predicted, resulting in thousands gathering at the Kabul International Airport to escape Taliban rule and retaliation.

Despite a deadly terrorist attack that killed more than a hundred Afghans and 13 U.S. service members, more than 100 thousand people were evacuated from the region in the month of August.

And on August 30, the last American troops left Afghanistan, ending 20 years of war that cost more than a trillion dollars and stole hundreds of thousands of lives.

Republican elected officials and media personalities have sharply condemned the handling of the withdrawal, but the administration got praise from a surprising source: far-right pundit Ann Coulter.

Throughout her career, Coulter has demonstrated a repeated apathy, and even aversion, to basic human rights.

In 2001, Coulter said as the U.S. was entering Afghanistan:

"We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity,"

Now, Coulter—who emerged as a critic of former President Donald Trump because his policies supposedly weren't cruel enough to immigrants—is singing a much different tune.

Coulter praised Biden at Trump's expense for finally getting the U.S. out of the war.

People were stunned, even horrified, to find themselves agreeing with the likes of Coulter.

Others had a more sobering response.

Somehow we find it unlikely that Biden considered Coulter's opinion on the decision to withdraw.

Stephen Colbert Makes Somber Plea To Americans In Wake Of Charlie Kirk's Death

Late-night host Stephen Colbert had a somber message for Americans as he addressed the assassination of far-right activist Charlie Kirk, stressing that "political violence only leads to more political violence."

Kirk died after an unidentified gunman shot him in the neck as he—ironically enough—mocked victims of gun violence at an event in Utah Valley State University. Kirk's murder has galvanized the far-right, with President Donald Trump and his surrogates claiming without evidence that rhetoric from Democrats is responsible for Kirk's death.

TikToker Hilariously Calls Out Target After Champion Pants Feature Awkwardly-Placed Front Pleat

Sometimes you can just tell when something was designed *for* women, but was not actually designed *by* women.

Take, for instance, the new pleated pants available at Target from the Champion clothing line. While there's nothing wrong with pleated pants and they certainly have a suitable spot in the workplace, the latest rendition of Champion pleated pants are, shall we say, NSFW.

Woman Goes Viral After Revealing How Her Obsession With Matcha Landed Her In The Hospital

Let's be honest: Too much of anything isn't good for us. It's all about the balance!

But the media and social media trends have taught us that certain things are really good for us, encouraging us to be like the "very mindful and very demure" girls and take care of ourselves. One such example is drinking more matcha, especially if you really like coffee or think you have a caffeine addiction.
