In a recent interview and shoot for Variety, Ryan Gosling paid homage to the great influence that inspired him to become an actor: Animaniacs.

After asking to do his photo shoot for the publication on the Warner Bros. water tower, the Oscar nominee explained that the animated series was the reason behind his desire to act.

Gosling is actually terrified of heights, but he wanted to honor the show that "planted" the acting bug in him.

“When I was very little, there was a show called ‘Animaniacs,' and they lived at Warner Bros. in the water tower — that was like their clubhouse."
“I loved that show. And I think it planted some seed in my head."
“That’s what making movies was like: The lot was just your home, and you wander in and out of Western sets, and you can hang out in the water tower.”

And hang out at the water tower he did.

People on social media loved that Gosling was able to live out his childhood dream.
