I Feel Pretty stars, Amy Schumer and Emily Ratajkowski met off-screen yesterday at the US Senate building in Washington D.C. But their meeting was for reasons that were anything but pretty.

The actresses joined hundreds of others to protest the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.

Kavanaugh's nomination has been shrouded in controversy after Christine Blasey Ford and two other women publicly accused him of sexual assault.

Since Ford first came forward a few weeks ago, alumnae from her alma mater have signed a letter of support and others, like journalist Connie Chung, have come forward telling their own story to let everyone know that they #BelieveHer.

Thursday's protest was yet another way for people to proclaim support for the allegations against Kavanaugh. Protesters were hoping for their words to be heard before lawmakers cast their votes in the upcoming days.

Yesterday's protest ended in the arrest of 302 people, including Schumer and Ratajkowski.

Schumer contacted CNN to inform them of her arrest while Ratajkowski took to Twitter.

Some people have tried to attack the actresses for agreeing to their arrest.

But others were quick to correct accusers, explaining that they were choosing arrest over resignation.

People are commending the actresses and the others arrested for their commitment to their beliefs.

While we can't vote on Kavanaugh's Supreme Court nomination, we can vote in next month's mid-term election. Make sure you are registered to vote before your state's deadline.
