The actor gave a sneak peak at her revived character of Cher Horowitz from the classic '90s comedy in an ad for Rakuten.

Fans of the iconic 90s cult hit movie Clueless are reveling in Alicia Silverstone reprising her character Cher Horowitz in a new Super Bowl ad.

Silverstone became popular when audiences fell in love with her character from the 1995 movie by writer-director Amy Heckerling that was a refreshing take on Jane Austen’s classic novel Emma.

Much to the delight of fans, she teased them with a trailer of her revisiting the role of the Valley Girl protagonist after 28 years since the teen comedy first had audiences buggin'.

“I’m just gonna leave this here," Silverstone wrote on Twitter.

The accompanying video showed her in her familiar yellow checkered blazer and twirling bubble gum and winking toward the camera.

Silverstone didn't leave diehards hanging.

She followed up with another clip, this time showing her walking to the front of a classroom with shopping bags in both hands and declaring from behind the lectern:

"Don't bug. Your girl is back."

The background music was “We Are Young, We Are Free” from the movie's soundtrack.

Here's the original version of her iconic behavior.

Twitter was giddy with excitement.

People were impressed by her ageless looks.

Some fans had their hopes way up for a sequel, although anything is possible.

A Clueless reboot was once considered for streaming on Peacock but was ultimately passed on for now.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the reboot was described as:

“A baby pink and bisexual blue-tinted, tiny sunglasses-wearing, oat milk latte and Adderall-fueled look at what happens when queen bee Cher disappears and her lifelong No. 2 Dionne steps into Cher’s vacant Air Jordans."
"How does Dionne deal with the pressures of being the new most popular girl in school, while also unraveling the mystery of what happened to her best friend?”

This wasn't the first time Silverstone revisited her Clueless character.

In 2021, she made her viral TikTok debut with a clip of her recreating the famous "as if" scene with her 10-year-old son Bear Blu Jarecki who she co-parents with her ex-husband, musician Christopher Jarecki.

In the clip, her son put his arm around her prompting her to shove him off and say "Ew! Get off of me! Ugh, as if!" just like Cher did in the movie.

Watch for the new ad when the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Philadelphia Eagles at the Super Bowl broadcasting live on February 12, 2023.

Awkward Typo In Elon Musk's Bizarre 'Education Department' Trump Meme Is A Total Self-Own

Billionaire Elon Musk was widely mocked after he celebrated President Donald Trump's executive order to begin to dismantle the Department of Education (DOE) by posting a meme of Trump at the department's grave, only for an awkward misspelling to get all the attention.

Polling indicates that eliminating the Education Department is largely unpopular, with 60% of registered voters opposing the move, according to a Quinnipiac University survey conducted March 6-10. Support stands at 33%, with opposition particularly strong among Democrats—98% oppose it, while just 1% support it.

People Break Down How They Realized An Entire Industry Was A Total Scam

We unfortunately live in a world where scams are on the rise.

Thankfully, some of them are pretty easy to detect, such as an automated call from the IRS telling you a warrant is out for your arrest, or an email claiming to be from Amazon or the USPS asking for your credit card information, only to look closer and see the email address is a yahoo account.
