Alabama GOP Sen. Caught Looking At Trans Woman's Explicit Photos After Voting For Anti-Trans Bill

Alabama GOP Sen. Caught Looking At Trans Woman's Explicit Photos After Voting For Anti-Trans Bill
Tom Whatley/Facebook

Only a week after Alabama Republican State Senator Tom Whatley voted against extending healthcare benefits to transgender minors, he was caught looking at transgender pornography online.

Just a week before perusing some trans pornography, Whatley voted for S.B. 10, "a bill that would criminalize doctors who provide gender-affirming health care to young people in accordance with established transgender standards of care."

Under the rules outlined in the bill Whatley voted for, a doctor could be sentenced to ten years in prison for prescribing puberty blockers to a transgender minor.

The age of majority in Alabama is 19.

Twitter was not surprised yet another Republican against LGBTQ+ rights was caught with certain attractions of their own.

Whatley was criticized harshly online for his hypocrisy.

Whatley doesn't want LGBTQ+ minors to have equal rights, but he's more than willing to lust after them online.

After being contacted regarding his interest in transgender pornography, Whatley unliked the post but the damage had been done.

Only time will tell how this incident affects the state senator's career.

That claim came after House Foreign Affairs Committee chair Michael McCaul, who said he thinks "Russian propaganda has made its way into the United States, unfortunately, and it’s infected a good chunk of my party’s base."
