7-Year-Old Cancer Patient Get His Wish Of Playing With The White Sox, Cheered On By An Entire Stadium ❤️

Alex Estrada, a 7-year-old boy with cancer, experienced a once-in-a-lifetime thrill when the White Sox invited him over to spend a day with them at their clubhouse.

The highlight of his special day was when Alex took to the field and ran a victorious Home Run like a pro, leaving virtually everyone in the stadium with their eyes damp and hearts full.

Since the age of 4, the boy with aspirations of playing professional baseball has been undergoing treatment at the Lurie Children's Hospital after being diagnosed with Stage 4 high-risk neuroblastoma.

But for one perfect day, Alex was able to forget about his illness and live out his dreams at the ballpark, thanks to the club's tenth annual Sox Serve week.

According to WGN, Alex was whisked away in a limo to Guaranteed Rate Field following a special prep rally at his day care. Little did he know of the planned surprises for him around the corner.

In addition to getting suited up in his own custom-made uniform to make him feel a part of the team, he played some video games in the locker room with Yolmer Sanchez and Hector Santiago.

The main even took place on the field where he got to run bases with his new teammates prior to Wednesday night's game against the Indians.

The team mates and the crowd cheered him on as he darted from base to base.

The boy triumphantly slid back to home base, proving that cancer is not match for this kid.

Alex's ultimate wish was to spend the day with the White Sox team and everything was a complete surprise. WGN said the boy's father described the day as an "unbelievable" and "amazing" experience.

White Sox fans also cheered for the boy on Twitter.

And people also lauded the White Sox for helping Alex's biggest wish to come true.

The day's magical event summed up the spirit of true sportsmanship.

And there is no shame in getting emotional.
