The Grammy winner told the audience of her Las Vegas residency about how her doctor diagnosed her with the fungal infection.

Adele made a triumphant return to the concert stage over the weekend after recovering from an unexpected health issue.

During her Saturday night performance of the ongoing "Weekends With Adele" residency in Las Vegas, the renowned singer-songwriter shared with the audience she had recently been diagnosed with a fungal infection called "jock itch."

The condition, which causes an itchy and stinging rash on the skin, is similar to ringworm and athlete's foot and is commonly found in the groin and inner thighs, particularly among male athletes.

Videos shared on social media—like the one below—captured Adele's revelation about her diagnosis and her lighthearted comments about the situation.

The British singer humorously disclosed that the extended periods of performing under hot stage lights had contributed to her condition, as she would sweat profusely while wearing Spanx to manage her appearance on stage.

Adele expressed surprise at the existence of a remedy for her ailment, saying:

"Do you know what my doctor gave me?"
"It is a bit crude, but I never knew it existed..."
"So my doctor gave me jock itch [cream]."

During her performance, Adele—who is currently dating NBA agent Rich Paul—also playfully connected the phrase "jock itch" to the name of Denver Nuggets player Nikola Jokić, whose surname sounds similar.

She jokingly remarked:

"Sounds like I am a big Nuggets fan there, doesn't it?"

She added:

"It looks like I am an athlete so I have to squirt [the cream] on myself. I don't know why the f**k I just told you that."

The internet is itchy for more of Adele’s humor.

We wish Adele good fortune for the rest of her Vegas tenure.
