Gun violence in the United States is a sensitive topic, but mass shooting awareness organisation Change The Ref has got people talking with a sympathy card stunt.
As reported by Indy100, the school shooting sympathy cards were part of a campaign from 2020.
The cards were displayed amongst the usual greeting card categories in a section labeled "school shooting.” Customers were secretly filmed coming across the cards and reacting in shock.
One card read the "I'M SORRY" along the top, followed by: "I'm sorry your kid got shot at school today."
Other cards read, “Sympathy on the shooting of your classmates” and “Condolences on the shooting of your teacher.”
The video has recently been re-shared by the organization on TikTok.
