We can all agree that going to an amusement park is very expensive, and most of us would like to cram as much as we can into our visit to make the expense worth it.
That might mean splitting up for a little while so different people in the group can go on the rides they want to go on, and then catching up with each other and sharing our experiences later.
However, that should never mean abandoning your child so that you can go on a ride at the same time as a friend or partner.
But that's exactly what TikToker @keesha4rank witnessed a couple do at Disneyland when they both wanted to go on the Guardians of the Galaxy roller coaster. The pair left their child in a stroller in between two buildings, covered up with a large Spider-Man blanket, and went to go wait in line for the ride.
The TikToker questioned what two people had to be thinking to justify leaving a young child unattended just to experience a ride together.
She later caught a security guard on camera who had noticed the stroller and checked on the child, who was trying to kick the blanket off and uncover themselves. He appeared to reassure the child before standing back up straight and observing the crowd.
The text overlayed on the video stated that "security came and got them off the ride," but nothing else was stated about what had happened after the parents left their child.

@keesha4rank Apparently you have to be 15 to be left unattended… idk how they thought this was ok 🤦🏻♀️! #disneyland #security #happiestplaceonearth #guardiansofthegalaxy
Fellow TikTokers were appalled by the video and could not believe that two adults had prioritized their amusement over their child's safety.
It was particularly concerning that it was in such a public place and in direct sunlight where the baby could have easily overheated under the blanket.

Other TikTokers agreed and hoped that the parents were punished in some way for sacrificing their child's safety.
Security getting them off the ride was promising, but they were left hoping for more.

Anyone who has been to an amusement park knows that the anticipation for certain rides and experiences is a real thing, and it can be horribly frustrating to waste a big chunk of your day just waiting in a line.
But if you choose to sacrifice a child's safety just to cut down on that wait time, you need to sort out your priorities.
