For many of us, our parents have sacrificed so much that we may never be able to repay them. But for the Kansas City Royals' new pitcher, the perfect Christmas gift may have done just that.

Brady Singer, a 22-year-old pitcher for the KC Royals surprised his parents by paying off their home and all their debt.

He posted a video of their reaction to a letter where he explained everything.

In the video you see his mother reading the letter, touched at his gratitude. However, when she gets to the heart of the letter, she has to pause before continuing.

"But there is something I want to give to you. I am paying off the loan from the bank. Also, I've paid off all your debt as well."

The tears from both parents are very touching. It's a complete story told in under two minutes that will move you.

"Because you deserve the very best. I want you both to know how much I appreciate you and how none of this would be possible without you."

And moved, people are.

Though it makes it difficult to compete with that gift.

Brady Singer signed with the Kansas City Royals back in July for $4.25 million. He was the team's first round pick, and the 18th overall pick in the amateur draft. Singer had been scouted since he was in high school, and played a key role in getting the Florida Gators to the college World Series.

According to the scout for the Royals, it was Singer's competitive nature that made him stand out. In a widely spread video, Singer is seen ranting because a game was suspended due to rain.

When he realizes the call means he won't get to pitch again that day, he curses.

"That's just something that -- did I mean [for] it to happen? No. Did it happen? Yeah, it did. That's my emotion, that's my competitiveness. I don't think I'm ever going to go away from that."

Singer is quoted as saying about the incident.

We wish Singer the best in his career.
