Following the show's conclusion, a video of Lewis praising his coworkers for the amazing experience was posted on HBO Max.

Lewis thanked show creator Larry David, as well as the other members of the cast and crew. He expressed affection and gratitude to everyone involved, describing working on Curb as the best experience of his career.

“Larry David has treated me like a god, and all of you have, and this is the greatest experience of my career, and I love each and every one of you. I’m honored to be working with arguably the greatest sitcom writer in the last two centuries.”

David had known Lewis for his whole life. Lewis fought Parkinson's disease and died earlier this year at the age of 76. He was dedicated to playing a fictionalized version of himself on Curb despite his health issues.
