Miami-based swimwear brand DivinoSeas is being called out over their pricey "ROSA" bikini that they claim is inspired by civil rights icon Rosa Parks.

Parks, a civil rights icon who, in 1955, refused to give up her bus seat to a white man and sparked the Montgomery Bus Boycott protesting segregated seating on public transportation.

Pauli Mia, lead singer of the American band Twin Princess, spotted the bikini description and shared screenshots on X, writing:

"Can I show you guys something?"

You can see the bikini top in question below.

The product description is also a tone-deaf piece of art:

"Inspired by the woman whose righteous rebellion against apartheid style segregation in the United States sparked the Civil Rights movement of the 1960s. In honor of Rosa Parks, DivinoSeas has included this artesian inspired salute to haute couture in the domain of luxury swimwear."
"ROSA is meticulously designed with divinity in the details. Every element in the constellation of her composition contributes to the sets’ seductive yet stately gravitas. Available in sea salt and light pink."

You can see it below.

People quickly dragged the company—and the comments were hilarious.

Oddly, the swimwear company also sells a bikini top inspired by former First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt, who is credited as the first modern First Lady and later served as a United States Delegate to the United Nations General Assembly, designing the landmark the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

The product description for this equally cringey item states that Roosevelt "controversially condemned fascist dictatorships at a politically inopportune time" and that the "uniquely textured Legacy Line item likewise goes against the grain of the zeitgeist while embracing the truth through body positivity via comfort and quality."
